BIN-YOUSAF FEEDS & FOODER
PAKISTAN POULTRY SECTOR
Poultry sector is one of the most dynamic and well-organized part of agriculture industry in Pakistan with a significant contribution in National GDP. Commercial poultry production started in Pakistan in 1960’s, passing through many phases, now it’s the second largest industry of the country.
Chicken meat and eggs are the best source of quality protein. In Pakistan per capita consumption of meat is only 6.61kg and 88 eggs annually. Whereas developed world is consuming about 40kg meat and over 300 eggs per capita per year.
This gap shows that poultry industry has to grow to provide animal protein to fulfill WHO standards.
Bin Yousaf POULTRY FEEDS along with the rest of stakeholders in poultry sector, is playing an important role in bringing the gap between the supply and demand for protein.

PAKISTAN DAIRY SECTOR
Livestock contributes 58% in agriculture that is 11.4% to national GDP and 3.1% to annual exports. Alongside its main role in our GDP, livestock contributes as unique part of human diet in the form of milk and meat. According to food security survey Pakistan (2019), 37% of the families are food deficient and more than that are on the edge of food security. While, the growing population and climate change are the challenges, which may pose further risk to food security in future.
Per capita consumption of food products that had a high nutritional value like meat, milk, vegetables and fruits was almost 6 to 10 times lower than in developed countries.
We here at Bin Yousaf FEEDS are producing best quality dairy feed/Wanda with the brand name of Bin Yousaf Wanda (شناور ونڈا). We are using top quality ingredients and state of the art technology to produce high quality feed.
DAIRY ANIMAL FEEDS
Dairy animals have enormous potential to produce milk but they have very high nutrient requirements to achieve that potential. Animals need daily supply of essential nutrients required to maintain their health, growth, pregnancy and production.
A dairy cow feed needs to be balanced to achieve milk production, body condition and reproduction targets.
We provide a variety of dairy feeds for lactating animals, required per their production and lactating stage.
CALF STARTER FEED
The three most essential nutrients for calf growth and development are water, energy and protein. Fiber, minerals and vitamins are also needed but play a smaller roll. For the rumen to develop it is essential that calves consume a highly palatable source of solid feed that is called calf starter.
FATTENING ANIMAL FEED
The proper nutrition of beef cattle is a key component of successful production system. Feed requirements are based on the need for specific amounts of various classes of nutrients, protein, energy and minerals.
SHEEP AND GOAT FEED
Whether for fiber, meat or milk, sheep and goats are raised all over the world and same is the case here in Pakistan. Feed is the single largest cost associated with raising small nutrients, typically accounting for 60% or more of total production cost.
A properly balanced ration is the first step toward maximizing production and health in your sheep flock and goat herds.

FODDER PRODUCTS

WHAT IS SILAGE
Silage is a fermented feed resulting from the storage of high moisture crops under anaerobic conditions in a structure called as silo. In brief, Silage is a high moisture fodder that farmers use to feed their domestic animals, especially during the dry season. Made up of grass, corn, maize, and others, silages are made by chopping the crops into small pieces and then storing them.
The common methods used to store silages are silos, bunkers, silage bags and silage bales. Silos and bunkers are used when there are large quantities present, whilst bags and bales are used when there are only small quantities to be stored and can be transported to the nearby market/farms in a short time.
The silage is then fermented to provide feed for livestock. The fermentation process of silage is done in multiple phases and takes around 3 weeks to be completed. The process of fermentation is done to improve dry matter intake and create a more digestible feed.
